Awesome way to end a
Busy school year.
Carrying a picnic along with the family
Dog.
Even the fish are biting.
Get out there and set the
Hook!Ice cream melting down your hand
Just as you're getting to the last of it.
Killing time while
Laughing at
Mother's sunburn.
No worries about late school work.
Organizing a trip to
Play at the lake.
Quickly gaining our own sunburn. I'm so
Ready for
Summer time.
Tubing down the river.
Universe by your side.
Venturing into the
Wilderness. Getting
X-rays for the bones we've broken. Wondering if school has come
Yet as we miss our old friends, but before then let's plan the next trip to the
Zoo.

What would happen if we stopped shaking hands
liraira [26]

Answer:

If we stopped shaking hands there may be, for an older generation, a sign of a lack of respect (though that can be shown in other ways).

Explanation:

Shaking hands is used as a form of greeting, expressing gratitude, and even used to complete business or diplomatic agreements. So, it does play an important role is society, but at the same time, I do believe that there are other ways of showing respect, a greeting, or completing agreements.

Hey, Im working on an English Mythology project. I have chosen to do Aphrodite, but I am having trouble coming up with an origin
Vladimir79 [104]

There was once a goddess whose charm and gorgeous looks made all the men swoon. She was a symbol of feminine beauty. Her long flowing brown hair, big blue eyes, and slender frame set her aside from all the mortals. Though some human women were beautiful, none could ever be as pretty as she. She resembled love and sexuality.

What is one theme of Nadias stage fright, having a supportive mother can help a person get through hard times, playing the piano
matrenka [14]

Answer:

pleasant memories can calm a person during stressful times

Explanation:

Nadia's stage fright is written by Clark Benson. Nadia is practising one song over and over to perform and give her best in the Talent Show. Her partner during practising time is her pet Lucky who sits beside Nadia on the floor.

When Nadia was frightful in the 7th stanza, she calmed herself by remembering pleasant memories with Lucky. This shows that frightful or stressful emotions can be overcome by recalling pleasant memories.

And this also suggests the theme of the story that pleasant memories have the power to calm a person when he/she is stressful.

So, the correct answer is the last option.

BaLLatris [955]
I would definitely go with B because a subjunctive is an realist mood (one that does not refer directly to what is necessarily real) – it is often contrasted with the indicative, which is a realist mood. Subjunctives occur most often, although not exclusively, in subordinate clauses, particularly that-clauses.

Gemiola [76]

The answer is "(The Brazilian athlete) joined the Santos Football Club" .

A participial phrase is what?

A participial phrase is an adjectival construction that combines a participle (past, present, or perfect) with other words such as nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and prepositional phrases. Like adjectives, participles are used to modify nouns and their equivalents.

What is a noun?

In a sentence, a noun is a word that refers to a specific person, place, thing, or animal. Depending on the context, a noun may serve as a subject, direct object, indirect object, subject complement, object complement, appositive, adjective, or adverb. Many nouns in English do not take gender into account.
