I'm wondering, is a cat smarter than a dog? I mean if you train the dog maybe. But without training?

Well, you have to be a bit more specific. Dog brains among breeds vary in size and capability. Dogs have roughly the same intelligence as raccoons and lions. Meanwhile, the average house cat compares to a bear in intelligence. All in all, some dogs are more intelligent than cats. However, I used to have a cat that could literally communicate through hand gestures and understand us, so it doesn't apply to every dog or every cat.

maria [59]
Because humming birds have long beaks, this structure allows them to feed any size flowers whether it’s deep or shallow. when it inserts it’s beak into a flower to drink nectar, the sticky pollen grains from the monkeyflower will cling to the sides of its beak. hope this helps!!

Sandra is riding a bicycle at 10.0 meters/second. She slows down to 2.0 meters/second in 10 seconds. Her acceleration is __
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:  Her acceleration is -0.8 m/s²

Explanation:

The initial velocity of Sandra ( u) = 10 m/s

The final velocity of Sandra ( v) = 2 m/s

Time taken by Sandra (t) = 10 s

Let the acceleration of Sandra be 'a'

Using the equation of kinematics, we have

                                                        v = u + at

                                                   ⇒  2 = 10 + 10a

                                                   ⇒  -8 = 10a

                                                   ⇒ a = \frac{-8}{10}m/s^2

                                                   ⇒ a = -0.8 m/s²

Hence, her acceleration is -0.8 m/s².
