The most important consideration for a successful outcome of this surgery is maintenance of the catheters or stents. A 12-month-old infant likes to explore his environment but must be prevented from manipulating his dressings or catheters through the use of soft restraints. Allowing the infant to become familiar with the dressings will not prevent him from pulling at them. After surgery the child is allowed limited activity, possibly with sitting in the parent's lap. A 12-month-old infant may or may not be walking. If he is, most likely he will be clumsy and possibly injure himself. Although increasing fluids is important, 2,500 mL/day is an excessive amount for a 12-month-old. Fluid requirements would be 115 mL/kg.

The correct answer could be ice chips.
Acute post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis is a disorder affecting the kidneys and it is mainly caused by bacterial infections, such as a streptococcus skin infection. Since it is a case of kidney dysfunction, a common practice is to restrict fluid intake in patients. Ice chips are a good choice since they moisten the mouth and relieve the feeling of thirst, but at the same time, they do not result in an excessive increase of fluid intake.

What is one difference (other than distance from the sun) between terrestrial planets and Jovian planets? Group of answer choice
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer:

The correct answer is - Jovian planets are mostly gas and liquid, terrestrial planets are solid and rocky.

Explanation:

Jovian planets also are known as gas planets due to the fact that they are made of gases. These planets are thick or dense with a large size in comparison to the terrestrial planets. These planets have more moon and termed as outer planets.

Terrestrial planets are made of the rocky surface that is denser than gas planets. These planets are known as inner planets. These planets are comparatively smaller and have less or no moons.

Discribe how a neutral atom changes when the number of protons,neutrons,or electrons change
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

Depends on what you are changing.

Explanation:

Protons have a positive (+) charge.

Neutrons have a neutral (0) charge.

Electrons have a negative (-) charge.

Since neutrons only affect atomic mass, we don't need to worry about it changing the charge.

If we had more protons than electrons, then since there are more + charges, the entire atom would be positively charged.

If we had more electrons than protons, then since there are more - charges, the entire atom would be negatively charged.

b-assembles ribosomes

c-defines cell shape

d-produces secretory proteins

e-modifies and sorts proteins

f-digests proteins

g-generates ATP

Explanation;

Some organelles and structures that make up the cell include; mitochondria, ribososmes, cell membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, lysosomes, among others,

-These organelles play individual roles in the cell; For instance;

Mitochondria-generates ATP

Lysosomes; digests proteins and worn out organelles

Golgi apparatus; modifies and sorts proteins

Ribosomes; Produces proteins

Endoplasmic reticulum; sythesis of lipids

Cytoskeleton; it gives the cell its shape

Nucleolus; manufactures and assembles ribosomes

etc.
