Mostly through colonies. British colonies were rich in resource so through industrialization, Britain could gather the most resources to secure them a better position on the market. Europe saw this effect and followed the British. For example the Dutch colony of Indonesia had a large amount of rubber, so by industrializing, they could gather this resource more efficiently.

Vsevolod [243]

Answer: spread of conflict.

In the 16th-century, the Protestant Reformation prompted people to challenge Church doctrine, leading to the development of secular movements that challenged the Roman Catholic Church and the papal authority. Which of the following is not a phase in the creation of a historical explanation?
dybincka [34]
Option C is correct, as 'writing' is only really a description of the physical act of creating a document. The other terms outline the nature of the research that has to happen in order to produce the intellectual information that forms a historical explanation, so these are all actually phases in the creation of a historical explanation.

How did the Industrial Revolution create the conditions for social upheaval in the 1800s? Ask question
spayn [35]

Answer:

The Industrial Revolution transformed economies that had been based on agriculture and handicrafts into economies based on large-scale industry, mechanized manufacturing, and the factory system. New machines, new power sources, and new ways of organizing work made existing industries more productive and efficient.

Simply, the working conditions were terrible during the Industrial Revolution. As factories were being built, businesses were in need of workers. With a long line of people willing to work, employers could set wages as low as they wanted because people were willing to do work as long as they got paid.
