I would say getting a degree is not worth it. I think this because getting a degree does not guarantee you will find a job. It may increases our chances of being picked for a job but will not entitle you to one. Also a lot of money is needed to pay back your student loans. A better choice would be trade school as you are a lot more likely to be able to afford it and not worry about being able to find a job because all trades are a vital part of the community.

The Freedom riders were arrested and put in jail for 30 days because they broke a state law in Mississippi. This law called for segregated facilities for black and white citizens. The Freedom riders intentionally had black riders sit-in the whites only section of these facilities. This form of protest resulted in arrests in several states across the "Deep South."
