Propaganda is used to promote a political agenda or viewpoint via mass media, it is characterized by using biased or misleading information. This means it is not objective at all as it serves someone's purposes, it wants to influence people toward a specific opinion. Propaganda addresses people's feelings by using images, slogans andselective information. The most important thing to take into consideration is the intention behind it.

In this case a government wants to benefit the image of the leader, making him look beloved and charismatic. This was used a lot during the Cold War with the dictators, although they killed people and were cruel, propaganda showed them as respected and humble, surrounded by the people.
