Direct labor is manufacture or services labor that is allocated to an exact product, cost focus, or work order.
To solve this, the equation would be: price variance / direct labor hours x standard rate of pay
So plugging in our data:
= 10,500 / 10,500 + 12
= 13
The actual rate is $13 per direct labor hour.

Answer: Security Deposit

Explanation:

A Security Deposit is an amount you pay when you first move into a house.

It is held in abeyance until you move out. In other words when you pay a Security Deposit, it doesn't become the Landlord's. It is still your money but it is held in trust. The purpose being that when you move out, any damages made to the house is fixed from the security deposit. If no damages need fixing then your entire security deposit is returned to you.

This fee is what Chad's landlord just explained to him.

Answer:

Annual rate of interest is 9%

Explanation:

The annual rate of interest is computed using the excel formula of Rate as:

=Rate(nper,pmt,pv,fv,type)

where

nper is number of years which is 26 years

Pmt is monthly payment which is 0

pv is present value which is -$220,000

fv is future value which is $1,950,000

type is 0

So, putting the values above:

=Rate(26,0,-220000,1950000,0)

=9%
