Immunological memory is a characteristic of the immune system, which give it the capacity to remember antigens on pathogens, tumor cells, etc, and thus is able to raise greater immunological response against them. Immunological memory is formed by earlier exposure to an antigen. This antigen will be remembered by certain leukocytes and antibodies in the immune system if the body is exposed to it again.
