For Germany signing the treaty of Versailles meant that it was not allowed a large army and lost a large amount of land (e.g. the Rhineland). Germany was also forced to join the league of nations for everyone safety.

The greatest economic impact on Germany was paying back the Allied nations for the damaged caused. The reparations were huge and when Germany couldn't pay France even started taking over important economic properties of Germany such as the Ruhr (massive coal mine of sorts) and brought in their own workers.
The Great Depression also came after world war one putting more economic stress on the already broken Germany.

Place yourself in this time period, What are the top three reasons that would push you to enlist to fight in the civil war?
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

One of my reasons that i would enlist to fight in the civil war is because i believe in equality. Slavery is something that should NEVER of been a thing to begin with. Even though it might not be in my self interest to fight in a war where i could possibly lose my life, I realize i would not just be fighting for my life, but for the lives of millions. Visualize a day in the of a slave and think how it would feel for people fighting for your freedom and know that you got to be apart of that and fighting a war that would change the lives of millions for the better is a great thing to be apart of.

Why did the loyalist believe that they had to follow the kings laws and rules?
Gnom [1K]
Well because many saw him as a man sent by god to rule, that's why they let the royal family lead for the longest time. They thought the dynasty was sent by god himself, and they were given his wisdom. Or something like that, I got this info out of "Five Equations that Changed the World" which has a bit about Newton's life and what he thought of the matter.
