He wanted it to return the United States back the way is was before World War 1 and Many Americans disagreed with Woodrow Wilson's policies during World War I and his support for the creation of the League of Nations. Warren Harding's emphasis on the "return to normalcy" during his campaign drew support from people who wanted the U.S. to be more like it had been before World War I. These people favored free enterprise, lower income taxes, high import tariffs, and an isolationist policy regarding international affairs. Harding was able to get many votes from people who blamed Wilson for the U.S. entry into World War I, and Harding won the election.

Warren Harding made the idea of the "return to normalcy" central to his campaign. This idea appealed to voters who worked for good and efficient government at the local level.

Further Explanation:-

‘Return to normalcy' was a campaign of a presidential candidate, Warren G. Harding in the election of 1920. There were detractors during that period who were against the use of word ‘Normalcy' in this campaign as they thought the use o this word as neologism and they further stated that this word is poorly used by Harding. A promise which presidential candidate Harding made with this slogan was that there will be the return of prewar mentality and thoughts of war would not come in the minds of people if he came to the power.

His thought behind this campaign was that people of America did not need heroics but they indeed required healing. They did not require a revolution, but restoration was the need. He got the support of people in this campaign and got a landslide victory against his opponent from Democratic party whose name was, ‘James M. Cox' and he also was the first senator who became the president while being on the position of a senator.

OverLord2011 [107]

Answer:

None of the mentioned

Explanation:

Woodrow Wilson proposed the Fourteen Points at the Paris Peace Conference because he felt sympathetic for the Germans because the rest of Europe was ripping them to shreds with new reparations and laws that were meant to punish Germany for starting WWI. But he never proposed any of the previously mentioned answers, yes he ratified them but that was only so that the Fourteen Point, the League of Nations would be ratified in the Treaty of Versaille.
