The correct answer is the group of Romanian orphans adopted by Western families.
Harry Harlow is an American psychologist known for his highly controversial experiments on the maternal and social isolation in Rhesus monkeys. These experiments along with several previously developed theories formed the attachment theory. Harlow's experiments showed that monkeys isolated from their mothers at birth, exhibited later on in life aggressive behaviour and were unable to form social relationships. These experiments suggested that maternal separation can lead to animals with antisocial behaviour.
At the end of the Ceausescu regime in Romania, a big number of orphans were adopted in Western families. These orphans experienced poor living conditions in Romanian institutions, with no social interaction or proper nutrition. Romanian and British scientists followed the progress of these adopted orphans and the results suggested that this early deprivation was the cause of some social deficits. However, scientists are optimistic that these deficits can be reversed in some cases.

What are the properties of water, and how do they help to sustain life on earth?
ANTONII [103]

The main property of water that helps sustain life on earth is that water has. a high specific heat. This causes water to gain heat very slowly.

Specific heat is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of water by one degree Celsius. Specific heat of water is 4, 186 joules /gram Celsius, and it is higher than that of a metal and of any other common substance.

Due to this, water resists tendency to evaporate or to vaporize and  therefore plays the crucial role of stabilizing temperatures on earth for terrestrial life and at the same time enabling aquatic organisms to maintain relatively constant internal temperatures.

Explanation:

Climate change influences severe weather by causing longer droughts and higher temperatures in some regions and more intense deluges in others, say climate experts. Among the most vulnerable are communities in exposed mo Extreme weather events can lead to substantial impacts, including loss of life, damages to buildings, agricultural production and natural capital, as well as longer term economic effects.untain and coastal regions.
