The normal chromosome content of a cell is called diploid state of cell. Its represented by the expression 2n. The cell division that takes place before the gamete formation is called meiosis. This cell division makes the chromosome number of the cells halved. So haploid cells are produced. Its represented by n.
Now as the gametes fuse, both the n becomes 2n and diploid state is regained.
But if the meiosis don't occur in the gametes, the gametes will remain 2n. So after fertilization, it becomes 4n. This state is called tetraploidy.
Polygenic inheritance. The characteristics of a person aren't controlled completely by a single gene, but rather several genes that generally only make a small contribution to how the child turns out in the outcome. At one point there was a study that showed over 400 genes were linked to height, so imagine any other characteristics of a person. Environmental effects also serve a large purpose in how a child is to turn out. These children may all be growing up in the same environment, however that's not to say they all grow up the same. They could all be treated the same way and react differently to it, this counts both for physical and mental traits. All human's features such as eye colors, hair color and height are determined by several different genes. As an example, there are around 2 major eye color genes, however there are also around 14 different genes that actually contribute in determining a person's exact eye color. Some are bound to look the same, as they have the same parents, however, just because they have the same parents doesn't mean they all will look exactly alike.

The dermal tissue makes up the outer covering of the plant. It has the hair cuticles and the stomata present on it.
The vascular tissue or the vascular bundles are composed of two different kinds of tubes, the xylem and the phloem. The xylem conducts water from the roots to the shoot and the phloem conducts the food prepared by the leaves to the roots and the stem.
The ground tissue are present beneath the dermal tissue. They contain a lot of water and maintain the turgidity of the plant stem. The purpose of this tissue is to provide structural strength to the plant.
