dedylja [7]

Answer:

2). The priestess blessed the heir to the throne.

3). The princess had never seen a white peahen.

4). Mr. Chopra and his wife went to attend the marriage.

5). My nephew was riding a colt.

6). My sister is as cunning as a vixen.

6). Everyday the countess spends time with her mare in her pleasure garden.

Explanation:

Masculine, feminine, neuter and common gender are the four types of gender nouns. The use of gender nouns helps in distinguishing the gender of the subject being talked about in the sentence. The pronouns are used according to the gender of the nouns. In the above sentences, the gender of the underlines words was asked to change and rewrite accordingly. Along with the gender of the particular word, the pronoun used to denote them was also required to be changed. An agreement needs to be established between the noun and the pronoun to make the sentences grammatically correct.

What is John Proctor's motivation in the crucible?
My name is Ann [436]

Answer: His main motivation was to be honest and authentic, but he also was motivated by the guilt and by his love for Elizabeth.

Explanation:

In the play, John was a farmer with a wife and children. He was known for being an honest man, and he sees himself as such despite being dishonest with his wife by practicing the adultery. During the play he is motivated to find falsehood and expose it (ex. Exposing the lies about the witchcraft and witch trials), he dislikes hypocrites, but he is one himself, that is why at the end, by refusing to save his own life with a lie, he is attempting to prove to himself that he is an honest person.
