Answer:

The correct answer will be- compound fracture.

Explanation:

Bone fracture is the breaking of bone due to accidents, sports injuries, falls, osteoporosis and low bone density.

The fracture should be of various types depending on the degree but a type of fracture where a fractured bone protrudes out from the skin is known as an open fracture or compound fracture. The open fracture can also be a case of a medical emergency as it could lead to osteomyelitis, a type of bone infection.

In order for evolution to occur, what must happen in a population?
kozerog [31]
For evolution to occur: There must be genetic variation in a population. This provides variation on which natural selection can act. Then natural selection can act by selecting those species which are better adapted to the environmental conditions. Over time those animals that are best suited to the environment only will survive and reproduce. Those organisms successful genes will be preserved and eventually the gene frequency in the population will change, changing the overall characteristics of a population. This is how evolution occurs.

Why are negative feedback loops used to control body homeostasis?

(Short answer)
liberstina [14]

Answer:

Homeostasis is defined as the state of body in which body maintains several chemical and physical changes inside the body affected by external factors.

Negative feedback loop includes a sensor, stimulus, control center, and effector which is used to control homeostasis.

A negative feedback loop is a reaction that reduce an excessive response and maintain the functions within the normal range. for example: if temperature and blood glucose level increases in the body, negative feedback loops control both the variables and maintain homeostasis.

Hence, negative feedback loops used to control body homeostasis.
