A lot of it is built up prejudice. As each generation grows up with racist qualities in their lifestyle, that’s what they become accustomed to and what they see as right without questioning it. That’s why a lot of people who grew up with segregation and legal racism found it hard to adjust to changing times. If something, such as racism, is built into the foundation of someone’s beliefs as they grow up, it becomes difficult for them to change their opinions. They can end up subconsciously passing on those opinions to their children and it moves on through each generation.

It is unfair to paint people with the Jim Crow brush because they have those kinds of arguments,” he said. “I don’t like people being judged based on the color of their skin.” If a program “treats people different because one has a different skin color, I find that offensive and I think the Constitution does as well."</span>

WINSTONCH [101]

Answer: A. Free trade

Explanation:

The question is asking what U.S. economic foreign policy aims to promote.

The United States is a strong believer in the market economy which allows for entrepreneurship and competition. The U.S. tries to spread this to the rest of the world by encouraging free trade as this would encourage competition by producers across different countries.

The U.S. does not always lead the way however with the imposition of tariffs on countries like China. It has been claimed by the government in this case, that this was only done to curb Chinese anti-competitive behavior which would mean that the tariffs are still meant to encourage free trade.
