It takes years of toil to become a successful writer as one needs the ability to 'sell' their words and opinions. The other advantages may include the impersonality that is a must for a writer, then comes the solitude that it requires to offer an uninfluenced and unbiased work to the readers and many more. Thus, apart from these, the greatest disadvantage of writing is that it can't be learned quickly due to its creative and technical nature.
