Exposition is we're u introduce the characters and rising action is getting close to the main problem in the story and climax is the main exciting part and falling action is getting close to the end were the problem is solved

Exposition: Arachne was a well known weaver that has a skill compared to no other person. Because of to her zeal in weaving she manufactured works of art that made the Goddess Athena curious about the talent she possess.

Rising Action: Goddess Athena dared Arachne to a weaving contest, in which the loser will have to stop weaving forever.

Falling Action: Arachne lost the weaving contest to the Goddess and was announced as the loser of the contest. for this, she was not allowed to touch any pin ever again.

Resolution: With Pity from the Goddess she transformed Arachne into a creature that’ll have the capacity to weave without a pin.

Further, when one is empathetic, one is able to understand the position/place of someone else. Obviously, if Jeff were speaking, he would want his audience to pay attention, so he should have recognized this and been conscious of that for Elizabeth.
