Answer:

B/2. An allele that is only expressed when no dominant allele is present.

Explanation:

Alleles always come in pairs, and we represent them with letters. Uppercase letters represent dominant alleles, and recessive alleles are represent by lowercase letters.

A recessive trait can only appear when the pair of alleles contains 2 lowercase letters, otherwise, if there are 2 uppercase letters or 1 of each, a dominant trait will be seen.

So:

AA - a pair of 2 dominant alleles (here we get a dominant trait).

Aa - a pair of 1 dominant and 1 recessive allele (here we get a dominant trait)

aa - a pair of 2 recessive alleles (here we get a recessive trait).

→ As we can see, we only get a recessive trait when there is a pair of 2 recessive alleles, therefore no dominant alleles in the pair.

Hope it helped,

Explanation:

Proper restraint and handling techniques are used while dealing with animals in laboratory. These techniques ease the process of dealing with animals and must be practiced on regular basis even when there is no procedure being performed.

Unlike other animals cat is the most co-operative animals and it is usually dealt by restraining the body be one hand and head by other hand. Cats can also be restrained by holding the scruff with one hand and then gently holding the hind limbs followed by stretching it.

Hence, option B is correct.

if all the cells of a lion have the complete set of dna, why cant the leg bone cells ever become stomach cells? (grade 9)
Maksim231197 [3]
They can’t change from bone to stomach cells. Once the cell has a dna set it will become what that dna is set for it to become and can’t change.

Photosynthesis consists of which two primary steps
GarryVolchara [31]

Answer:

Light reactions and Calvin Cycle

Explanation:

The products of the light reaction become the products of the Calvin cycle (which is the dark stage) of photosynthesis. The light reaction is called so because it harnesses the energy of the sunlight photons to split water molecules into H+ and O- . The CO2 is then reduced to glucose using the H+ in the Calvin cycle without the need for sunlight - hence referred to as the dark reaction. The light reaction occurs in the grana while the dark reaction occurs in the stroma.
