I think he would have advised him to leave while can and speak out. The fact that someone called his name meant that he was caught. He speaker had already witnessed much sorrow and pain from war and other problems. Eventually they came for the speaker and there was no one there for him. “Then they came for me-and no one left to speak for me.” however I don't believe he would have agreed with Niemöller.

If we didn’t grow how would we walk?

Which statement best summarizes the character of Miss Scatcherd In Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë?
alexandr402 [8]
In Jane Eyre, a teacher of history and grammar, Miss Scatcherd, whips Jane's best friend, Helen Burns. She also sentences Helen "to a dinner of bread and water . . . because she had blotted an exercise in copying it out." When Jane advises Helen to resist Miss Scatcherd's treatment, Helen tells her that "it is far better to endure patiently a smart which nobody feels but yourself, than to commit a hasty action whose evil consequences will extend to all connected with you; and besides, the Bible bids us return good for evil." Sometime later, Helen dies of consumption.

Complete the text with the best conjunctive adverb.
Blababa [14]

Answer:

C) Incidentally

Explanation:

Personally I don't like any of these answer choices. However, this one makes the most sense in this context. The others would need a much different set-up earlier on in the passage. "Incidentally" does not require such a set up, which is why it is the only one that fits.
