Causes: different explorers had different reasons for exploring new lands . some went for wealth, glory, and gold, while others traveled out of their own personal interests.

effect: some basic effects of europeans coming to north america are that the native americans caught new diseases which included small pox, influenza, measles, and chicken pox. explorers used superior fire power, like single shot muskets, to conquer natives. the native americans land was stolen from them and slaves were taken back to europe.
