When an object from a pause state begins to move the potential energy is changed into kinetic energy. One of the example is the yo-yo, it has stored energy due to its position. Once the yo-yo begins its fall the potential energy will change to kinetic energy and vice versa.

What is the restoring force in propagation of air particles?
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

Restoring force is a force which acts to bring a body to its equilibrium position. The restoring force is a function only of position of the mass or particle, and it is always directed back toward the equilibrium position. Therefore the restoring force of air particles should be displaced in the direction of the force and according to Newton 3rd law of motion, once the force is removed, restoring force of elasticity returns the displaced particle to a resting state .

3. If all the producers in the above food web contain 40,000 Kcal of energy, how much
Artist 52 [7]

Answer:

The answer is only about 40

Explanation:

Whenever something is consumed, only about 10% of the energy is consumed. So when a primary consumer eats the producer, they will get about 4,000 kcal. Then the secondary consumer will get about 400. Finally, the tertiary consumer will only get about 40. Basically, just multiple the original number by 0.1 for every time it goes through consumption.
