The earth is a vast ecosystem that was created by natural forces. Through mankind's touch this has drastically changed. A sort of butterfly effect occurs whenever man intervenes with nature. For example, building a dam stops water flow, dries up the river bed, and forces native animals to relocate or die. Everything that mankind has done to the earth hurts the natural course of how nature grows and flows. By doing this the earth has become poisoned, and therefore mankind is poisoning his home and himself.

Animalism offers the animals a utopian existence. A life free from slavery, exploitation and abuse. Essentially, it offers them a life liberate from the tyranny of man. The concept is based on the principles of freedom, equality and brotherhood. Each animal will have the same rights and privileges as any other animal. All animals will be equal and no one animal will be superior to another.
The Spy, written by James Fenimore Cooper, mainly took place in one setting. That setting was what they characters referred to as "the Locust." The Locust was the summer home of the Wharton's. They migrated to the home to try and avoid the war between the British and America and having to take sides.
