QR is the median of the trapezoid, so its length is the average of the top and bottom bases. Write that. Say (length of QR)=1/2 of (length of the top + length of the bottom). That gives you a nice simple equation that you can easily solve for 'x'.

Otrada [13]
<span>The graph will get flatter from –1 to 1.As you raise a proper fraction to higher even powers, you get smaller values, so the y-values get closer to the x-axis.The graph will get closer to the y-axis, or narrower. As you raise values greater than 1 (or less than –1) to higher even powers, you get larger values, so the graph increases at a faster rate.

I hope my answer has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!

A store owner makes a profit of $54 when he sells 9 jackets. How many jackets should he sell to make a profit of $270? jackets
Goryan [66]
First you have to find the cost of each jacket.
54/9=6 Each jacket cost $6
Then you get the total profit and divide that by the cost of each jacket.
270/6=45 (45 jackets)
Multiply 45 jackets by the cost ($6)
45*6=$270.
The answer is 45.
