The first thing you need to do is subtract 60-18 because you already peeled 18 carrots and you need 60 total. 60-18=42. If you can peel 2 carrots per minute and you have to peel 42 carrots you would do 42 carrots ÷ 2 carrots per minute = 21 minutes.
