The Moravians and the Highland Scotts introduced Christian religion, although before them, there were already other Christian religions.  The Moravians were The Unity of the Brethren <em>missionaries </em>that served the slaves, German immigrants and the Natives in the colony. The Highland Scotts were Presberyterian of the Church of Scotland.
