The answer is 9x^2+36x+36
You can distribute the -3 to the x and the 2 to get -3x-6 and then because it’s squared it gets multiplied by itself so (-3x-6) times(-3x-6) which gives you the answer of 9x^2+36x+36

Igor's taxable income is the difference between the amount

he earns annually and the amount he earns as exemptions.

Response:

  • The amount he pays in annual state income tax is;<u> $1,497</u>

<h3>Which methods are used to calculate income tax?</h3>

Given;

Annual earnings = $57,900

State tax rate = 3%

Amount earned in exemption = $8,000

Required:

The amount Igor pays in annual state income tax.

Solution;

Taxable Income = Annual Income - Exemptions

Therefore;

Igor's taxable income = $57,900 - $8,000 = $49,900

Taxable Income × Tax rate = Amount paid as tax

  • The amount he pays is therefore; $49,900 × 3% = <u>$1,497</u>

Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

2. one angle is 108, and other is 72

3. x is 12

Step-by-step explanation:

the ratio is 3:2.

3x + 2x = 180

5x = 180

x = 36

36 x 3 = 108

36x 2 = 72

so that is why the two angles re 108and 72.

for the last question, 37 plus 41 plus x = 90

37 plus 41 is 78

90 - 78 = 12

so that is why x is 12.

A cookie factory uses 1 1/5 bags of flour in each batch of cookies. the factory used 7 1/5 bags of flour yesterday. how many bat
shtirl [24]

Hello!

To find how much batches of cookies the factory made, we need to divide the total number of bags of flour used by how many bags of flour are needed for one batch of cookies.

Before dividing, we need to convert the complex fraction into an improper fraction.

1 1/5 → 5 × 1 + 1 = 6/5

7 1/5 → 5 × 7 + 1 = 36/5

For every batch of cookies, the factory uses 6/5 bags of flour. Yesterday, the factory used 36/5 bags of flour.

Remember when dividing by a fraction, it is like multiplying its reciprocal. This means that the second fraction is flipped, then which it can be multiplied together.

\frac{36}{5} / \frac{6}{5} → \frac{36}{5} * \frac{5}{6} = \frac{180}{30} = 6

Therefore, the cookie factory made 6 batches of cookies yesterday.
