Find the perimeter and area of this shape: please answer me

Mathematics

Answer:

perimeter = 32.28 cm

area = 47.7 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter = sum of the lenght of the sides of the shape

and because we have a hollow in the shape that looks like a half a circle we will get the circumfrence of that part and add it to the rest

lets find the circumfrence or perimeter of the semi-circle first

6-(1+1)= 4

formula of a circle = πd = 3.14 x 4 =12.56

because its half a circle we divide by 2

12.56/2 = 6.28

perimeter = 1+6.28+1+9+6+9=32.28

because this shape look s like a rectangle we will find the area of the whole shape then subtract from the area of the semi-circle because it is a cut out

6 x 9 -(1/2πr²/)

54 - (1/2x3.14 x2x2)

54-6.28

area = 47.72cm²

Hope this helps and if it does mark as brainliest pls.thx

Sasha is making some shelves which are 75.5 cm long. If the wood she is using is 180 cm long, how many pieces will she need to m
anzhelika [568]

Answer:

3

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the shelves are 75.5cm long, the total length she would be needing is 75.5cm × 6 = 453cm

Now, the length of the wood she is using is 180cm, to get enough length to make the shelves, we would need to divide 453cm by 180cm which gives a value of around 2.51

This is approximately equal to 3 when rounded up to the nearest whole number.

what key features can be identified from graphs of polynomials with higher degrees and explain how the key features can be used
Natali [406]
Polynomials are algebraic expressions that contain more than two terms. AN example would be: f(x) = x^3 + x^2 + x +1. This equation contains three terms, with the 3rd degree as its highest term. It also means that the graph passed three x-intercepts. This depends in the highest degree. So, the first thing you do is plot the intercepts because for sure, the graph will pass there.
