\csc\theta=\dfrac{\sqrt5}2\implies \sin\theta=\dfrac1{\csc\theta}=\dfrac2{\sqrt5}

Since \tan\theta=\dfrac{\sin\theta}{\cos\theta}>0, and we know that \sin\theta=\dfrac2{\sqrt5}>0, we then also know that \cos\theta>0.

Recall that

\sin^2\theta+\cos^2\theta=1\implies\cos\theta=\pm\sqrt{1-\sin^2\theta}

We take the positive root because we know that \cos\theta>0. Then

\cos\theta=\sqrt{1-\left(\dfrac2{\sqrt5}\right)^2}=\sqrt{1-\dfrac45}=\dfrac1{\sqrt5}

Now,

\cot\theta=\dfrac{\cos\theta}{\sin\theta}=\dfrac{\frac1{\sqrt5}}{\frac2{\sqrt5}}=\dfrac12

Your Question:
<span>Laurie buys four bags of candy with 10 pieces of candy in each bag. Her father then gives her 5 more pieces of candy. Laurie wants to give as much of her candy as she can to each of her six friends, and she wants to make sure they each get an equal number of pieces. How many pieces will be left over, if any, after Laurie gives her friends the candy?
My Answer:
If Laurie has four bags with ten pieces in each bag, and if her father gives her five more pieces,  she would have forty-five pieces and if she has six friends and wants to share it equally with six friends. Each friend would get 7 pieces.

Answer:

26s +24

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter is the total length of all its sides.

Perimeter

= 10s +3 +3s +9 +10s +3 +3s +9

= 10s +3s +10s +3s +3 +9 +3 +9

= 26s + 24

Aiden is trying to save money and has $1800 to set aside in some type of savings account. He checked his bank one day, and found
kipiarov [429]
I = Prt

Interest on CD = 0.0425 x $1,800 = $76.5
Interest on savings = 0.0275 x $1,800 = $49.5

Difference of interest on CD and Interest on savings = $76.5 - $49.5 = $27

Therefre, he will earn $27 more if he invest in a CD rather than in a savings.
