Answer:

True! At the beginning of a research project, you should allow your questions to branch in many directions.

Explanation:

When you are doing a research project, it is best to think of a lot of different questions at the beginning. This will allow you to capture your resarch more fully and help you understand your topic better. As the project continues, you may decide not to pursue each of the questions. However, it is better to have too many questions than not enough. If you didn't have enough questions, it would indicate that there wouldn't be much to research.

2. In a short essay, identify two symbols you find important in The Great Gatsby. How do these symbols serve to develop the stor
sineoko [7]
Two symbols that are important in The Great Gatsby are the color green and a clock. Green is important as it represents money and Gatsby's hope. These two ideas are tied together because Gatsby believes that if he builds himself into a rich enough person, Daisy will take notice and come back to him. Green is also the color of the light at the end of Daisy's dock which acts as a symbol for her and the love Gatsby is holding out for her. At the end of the novel it says "Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us." This quote shows that the light represents hope, but that that hope keeps getting further and further away instead of getting closer. In the same way money can be lost, so can the promise of the future you want. Green ties these ideas together to symbolize Gatsby's hope.
The clock on Nick's mantle also serves as an important symbol for time. Gatsby is trying to make up time when he meets Daisy again, and a reoccurring theme in the novel is that you can't repeat the past. When Gatsby and Daisy meet again for the first time in many years, Gatsby knocks Nick's clock off its mantle. This represents the time that he and Daisy have lost, and how it is going to slip away from them again. Later, Gatsby says "‘Can’t repeat the past?’ he cried incredulously. ‘Why of course you can!’" in response to Nick's telling him that it would be impossible to do just that. This falling clock shows how desperate Gatsby is to make up that time and how precarious trying to do that is.

2. Reading Check (a) What measures does Henry say the colonists have
ryzh [129]

Measures the colonist already tried in dealing with England is that they have tried to resolve the issue in every peaceful way possible, but no progress has been made.

Who is a colonist?

This is known to be a member or an inhabitant of a colony. A colonist is a person who migrates to and settles in a foreign area as part of a colony. The course of action Henry wants the colonist to take is to start a war and his answer to the objection that the colonists are not ready is to start the war now because the longer we wait to start, the more time we're giving them to prepare.

Hence, Patrick Henry says that the colonist has tried to resolve the issue in every peaceful way possible in their dealings with England, but no progress whatsoever has been made. This speech was in the convention capital of Richmond by Patrick Henry.

In english, we say: i love you. in spanish, there are many ways of conveying different types of love, such as te quiero, te amo,
Jlenok [28]

These differences are an example of how language may influence our views of the world

A language is a formalised form of speech. A language's grammar is its structure, while its vocabulary is its free-form elements. Humans primarily communicate using languages, which can be expressed orally (spoken language), visually (sign language), or in writing. Many languages, including the most extensively used ones, have writing systems that make it possible to record sounds or signals for later activation. Being independent of a single channel of transmission (such as sight, sound, etc.), highly changeable between cultures, and providing a considerably greater spectrum of expression than other systems make human language distinct from other systems of animal communication.

Gelneren [198K]

Answer:

Letter B is the correct answer.

Explanation:

The Canterbury Tales is a book written by English Geoffrey Chaucer; it was written in Middle English between 1387 and 1400. There are 24 stories in the book.

The correct answer is B since the pilgrims gather south London, in a town called Southwark, and they want to visit the St. Thomas à Becket shrine that is located in Canterbury; this trip is the beginning of the book since the characters decide to hold a storytelling competition to help themselves make the road lighter.
