Answer:

The sentence is grammatically correct.

There is one typo on the word "for."

Explanation:

Semicolons are used to connect independent clauses in a sentence, without giving more weight or importance to any of them.

Independent clauses are groups of words that contain both a subject and a predicate. They can function as complete sentences or combined to create a compound sentence.

In the example given, there are three independent clauses:

 • Jim chose Bill and Terry for his team.
 • Sandra chose Gina and Mary.
 • Luke chose Audrey and Reggie.

The clauses are linked with a semicolon in order to avoid the repetition of "for his/her team" and the use of a conjunction (and, but, so).

What is George’s pint of view from mice and the men
wlad13 [49]

The point of view used by John Steinbeck in the novel Of Mice and Men is third person omniscient and objective. This means that the narrative is not given by a character within the story. It also means that the narrator knows everything about the characters, and the plot itself.

I think it's because homeless shelters can only take so many people. ANd it doesn't provide you with ALL the things you need. And, it's for only a period of time you can stay there. So many homeless people choose to stay on the street then go to homeless shelters.
