Answer:

Number of followers liked latest post = 360

Second model represent the problem.

Step-by-step explanation:

let,

Number of followers liked latest post = x

Total number of followers = 600

According to given condition;

x = 60% of 600

x= (60/100)600

x = 360

Number of followers liked latest post = 360

Second model represent the problem.

i am thinking of 2 numbers when i add my numbers the answer is 1 when i multiply my numbers the answer is 0.09 what is the numbe
Virty [35]
X + y = 1.....x = 1 - y
x * y = 0.09

y(1 - y) = 0.09
y - y^2 = 0.09....re-arrange
y^2 - y + 0.09 = 0
(y - 0.9)(y - 0.1) = 0

y - 0.9 = 0      x + y = 1
y = 0.9           x + 0.9 = 1
                      x = 0.1

y - 0.1            x + y = 1
y = 0.1           x + 0.1 = 1
                      x = 0.9

so ur 2 numbers are : 0.1 and 0.9

Find an equation of the line that is parallel to the graph of 2x+3y=5 and contains the point (3, −1).
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

A) Equation of line is 3X - 2Y = 11

B) Equation of line is Y = X + 1

C) Equation of line is Y - 7 = 0

Equation of line , point (3 , -1) and slop \frac{3}{2} is 3X - 2Y = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation of line as  2x + 3y = 5

slove of this line (m1) = - \frac{2}{3}

Now another line passes through point  (3 , -1) having slop (m2)

Both lines are parallel to each other, i.e (m1) × (m2) = - 1

So slop of second line (m2 ) = \frac{-1}{m1}

                                      (m2) = \frac{-1}{(\frac{-2}{3} } )

                                      (m2) = \frac{3}{2}

Now eq of line with point (3 , -1) and slop (m2)

Y- y1 = (m2)( X - x1)

Or, Y +1 = \frac{3}{2} (X - 3)

i.e 2Y + 2= 3X - 9

∴ Equation of line is 3X - 2Y = 11     Answer

B) Given points as ( 5,6) and (3 , 4)

Slop (m) = \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1} = \frac{4 - 6}{3 - 5} = 1

So the equation of line is

Y- y1 = (m)( X - x1)

Y - 6 = (1) (X - 5)

i.e Equation of line is Y = X + 1   Answer

C) Given points as ( 0, 7)  , (0 , -8)

Slop (m) with co-ordianate =  \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}

Or,                                        =  \frac{-8 - 7}{0 - 0}

                                            =0

Hence equation of line is Y - 7 = 0     Answer

Kirk and his family decide it is more reasonable for him to attend the local community college. they want to save for the cost o
Pani-rosa [81]
If you would like to know which is the most reasonable goal for Kirk and his family to plan to save, you can calculate this using the following steps:

a. $225 a month * 2 years * 12 months = 225 * 2 * 12 = $5400
b. $200 a month * 3 years * 12 months = 200 * 3 * 12 = $7200
c. $100 a month * 4 years * 12 months = 100 * 4 * 12 = $4800
d. $75 a month * 5 years * 12 months = 75 * 5 * 12 = $4500

The most reasonable goal to plan to save would be goal b, because $7200 is more than <span>$6845.</span>

PLEASE HELP!!!! WILL GIVE YOU BRAINLIEST!!
borishaifa [10]

The graph means that 2 x and 9.4 make up 20 in total, so set up the equation 2x + 9.4 = 20.

Subtract 9.4 from both sides.

2x = 10.6

Divide by 2.

x = 5.3

The answer is the value of x that makes this equation true is 5.3

Hope this helps
