Angie has 10 feet of ribbon.She wants to cut strips that are 7 inches in length. How much ribbon I'll be left after if she cuts

Because there are 12 inches in a foot, 12x10=120 inches. So when you  do 120/7, you're cutting it up into 7 inches pieces which leave you with 17R1 so your answer is 1 inch left
