Throughout the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson mentioned the incidents with the seventh amendment and stated that t<span>he British Crown had established separate courts for the citizens of America that did not allow juries to decide the cases on their own. They did this because the colonists kept rejecting British bills and were ignoring the wants of the King.</span>

Also, they ar had economic interests in some of these different areas such as the US for the rich minerals and oil in Latin America.
