"A Rose for Emily" is a short story that was written by William Faulkner. This story shows a southern gothic approach. In one of the scenes, what people discovered when they force open the door to the room above the stairs was a fancy room, and a dead body. The dead body was Homer Barron. It was Emily who killed him and kept him there.
