22 & 23) x = 10 (solved for x in 5x+80=3x+100)

5x + 80 = 130 degrees (angle LMN)

3x + 100 = 130 degrees (angle PMQ)

130 * 2 = 260 degrees

360 - 260 = 100

100 / 2 = 50 degrees (angle LMP and angle NMQ)

24) 60 degrees and 30 degrees. 60 is twice as large as 30, and they bothd this  add up to 90 degrees.

Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees *

If a force of 50 pounds is directed 30° from the horizontal, what vector represents this force?
Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

F_x=43.30\ N

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Force, F = 50 pounds

It is directed at 30° from the horizontal.

The force will be given by :

F_x=F\cos\theta\\\\=50\times \cos(30)\\\\=43.30\ N

So, the required force is 43.30 N.
