Answer:

D. They hope to reach new and younger customers.

Explanation:

All the companies, it doesn't matter which one, has one main purpose, this is to create profit for it's shareholders. So all the decissions taken are going to be based in this principal objective. To keep the profit increasing, the companies must addapt to new markets and customers, changing their sales trategies and their products. Remember that in a capitalist system competition never stops, so if a company doesn't addapt it reaches banckruptcy.

For fast food companies, schools are a great target because they are filled with kids that are easily catch up by advertising and junk food, school provides a place were parents are not present to limit the amount of food they can eat. In this case the consequences are not questioned as it has been proven that these kind of food is harmful for kids.

<span>Umbrella comes from the Latin word umbra, which means “shade.”

The best way to choose this answer is to eliminate the other possibilities. The last option is not grammatically correct. The two sentences are complete, but only joined with a comma. This is not enough and creates a run-on. The first option uses commas to create a phrase (coming from the Latin word umbra). The sentence should make sense if this phrase is eliminated - it doesn't. The third option doesn't even sound grammatically correct.

What information should a writer include in the applicability section of a policy document?
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

The information a writer should include in the applicability section of a policy document is:

Header, regarding information about the policy, title, effective date, revision date if applicable, approver's signature, and purpose statement.

Explanation:

The reasons behind the answer are that in the first place the document has to provide information that would make the reading identify the policy, the topics it covers, who supported it, who approved it, the purpose statement as justification, and the revisions that were made to it as well as the date of effectiveness. Because all this data would allow the reader to contextualize with the topic and understand the whole scenario at a single glance.
