It prevents the separation DNA strands from reattaching to one another during DNA replication is called DNA Helecase. 2 major enzymes used during DNA replication is DNA helicases, DNA polymerase. DNA Helicase is an enzyme that unwinds the DNA double helix during DNA replication.
