Answer:

Is it not clear that college is totally cool?

Explanation:

When you are revising this sentence for formal language you want to make it understable to you and your teacher or tutor. To be precise, you want to avoid short forms of the verb "to be" when asking a negative question. The revised form of this sentence for formal language would be the following:

"Is it NOT clear that college is totally cool?" Here in the bolded auxiliar of the negative question form of the present. If you have more questions feel free to ask please.

Answer:

“Isn't it clear that college is totally cool?” when changed into a formal sentence can be put as “Isn’t it perceptible that college is absolutely remarkable?”

Explanation:

The difference between an informal and a formal sentence or question is that the former is presented with a personal and emotional tone and the latter always comes with a professional tone. Also, an informal saying consists of words or phrases that have give a casual sound to the string of words. Abbreviations and words mainly used verbally find their place in these kinds of sentences. Whereas, formal sayings always consist of full sentences and proper grammar.

Does Swift wish to make Gulliver's attitude towards humanity appear acceptable? Why?
NemiM [27]
I think Swift does give the "okay" for Gulliver to act the way he does because he depicts Gulliver as this sort of courageous hero who completes these magnificent feats with his wit and bravery. Swift also builds up the fantastic characters and civilizations that Gulliver visits to be better than humanity by leaps and bounds. The stark contrast between these fictional civilizations and the people of England is so blatant that the reader can't help but be negatively biased toward the English. Gulliver acts as the intermediary between humanity and what humanity could be when he visits these lands, almost as a diplomat, when he inquires about their cultures and lifestyles and then goes on to explain how things work in England.
