It was important because it was something like a first document on running a colony. Basically, if people wanted to sign it then they would and they would have to obey it. They would work hard and do their best to improve the colony and those not supporting the growth of the colony would be punished.

What was the significance of the 36 30’ pareallel?
victus00 [196]

Answer:

The Missouri Compromise of 1820 established the latitude 36°30′ as the northern limit for slavery to be legal in the territories of the west. As part of this compromise, Maine (formerly a part of Massachusetts) was admitted as a free state.

Explanation:

This parallel of latitude is particularly significant in the history of the United States as the line of the Missouri Compromise, which was used to divide the prospective slave and free states west of the Mississippi River, with the exception of Missouri, which is mostly north of this parallel.

Why were japanese on the west coast forced to live in internment camps?
soldi70 [24.7K]
I believe it was because the government was afraid that they might be spies for Japan, so they thought it was safer to keep them in one place so it would be easier to keep an eye on them. It also stemmed from racism due to the attack on Pearl Harbor and the U.S. fighting against the Japanese in the Pacific.
