European knights wore heavy armor and chainmail in battle. Often, their horses were also protected with armor. Do you think this approach to battle proved to be an advantage or a disadvantage in the crusaders’ travel to Jerusalem?

In my opinion it was a disadvantage for the traveling part but for the actual fighting it could be both an advantage and a disadvantage
