How remote sensing works
Varvara68 [4.7K]
Remote sensing, means to observe something from a distance. For Example; Satellites observe earth from space, and help scientists study large tracts/groups of land. Optical Remote Sensing satellites use reflected light, to determine and detect electromagnetic energy on The earth's surface.

This was the best I could do, I'm sorry if this doesn't help. Your question is very vague, which makes it hard to answer, seems how I don't know if it's an essay question, or multiple choice. I hope this helps you, even just a little bit! :)

Why did britain, a former enemy, propose a common policy on latin america?
dexar [7]

Britain proposed a common policy on Larin America because the Monroe Doctrine satisfied the demands of the British, which kept the French, Dutch and Spanish out of America, as well as sustained  trade with them. Furthermore, it allowed the establishing of the "Informal Empire" greatly of South America, where Britain constructed the telephone networks, dominated trade and railways. As a matter of fact, America was  in no position to regulate and control the doctrine, but the US Navy was too small, on the other hand, the Royal Navy is the largest navy in the World until 1946, could control  it.

What happens to volcanoes as they move away from magma source (plume)?
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

When the crust bearing the volcano moves away from the plume, the volcano becomes extinct

Explanation:

A  plume is a warm rock cresting column that arises deep within the mantle, potentially just over the limit of the core mantle. Plume are believed to increase at about 10 times the pace of convection of the mantle. The volcano is active when it is directly above the plume. When the crust bearing the volcano moves away from the plume, the volcano becomes extinct. But the volcanic cone's composition continues.
