A convergent boundary is an area on Earth where two or more lithospheric plates collide. One plate eventually slides beneath the other causing a process known as subduction. Subduction initiates when this dense crust converges with the less dense crust.

As I said, Russia is a very large country, measuring just about <span>7,098,242 km2. It's so large, the official measurements say that it's 77 percent in Asia, and the rest in Europe.
The odd part? Most Russians live in the European part, and a lot of the Asian part is very cold and unhabitable to most.
