\frac{v-9}{10v} +6=11

Subtracting 6 on both sides, we get,

\frac{v-9}{10v} =11-6

\frac{v-9}{10v} =5

Multiplying by 10v on both sides , we get,

\frac{v-9}{10v}*10v =5 *10v

v-9=50v

-9 = 50v -v

-9=49v

\frac{-9}{49} =v

v=- \frac{9}{49}

\frac{v-9}{10v+6}=11 \\\\ 11(10v+6)=v-9 \\\\ 110v+66=v-9 \\\\ 110v-v=-9-66 \\\\ 109v= -75 \\\\ \boxed{v=-\frac{75}{109}}

David will spend at most $39 on gifts. So far, he has spent $22. What are the possible additional amounts he will spend? Use c f
iren2701 [21]

Answer:

c\leq \$17

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

c -----> the additional amount (in dollars) David will spend

we know that

The word " at most" in this context means "less than or equal to"

The amount David has spent plus possible additional amounts he will spend must be less than or equal to $39

so

The inequality that represent this situation is

22+c\leq 39

solve for c

subtract 22 both sides

c\leq 39-22

c\leq \$17

The maximum amount he could spend is $17

What is the value of b in the equation 3b + 2(b - 1) =8
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

b = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the value of b, we have to isolate b on one side of equation first

So,

3b+2(b-1)=8

Multiplying 2 with b-1

3b+2b-2=8\\5b-2=8

Adding 2 on both sides

5b-2+2=8+2\\5b=10

Dividing by 5 on both sides

\frac{5b}{5}=\frac{10}{5} \\b=2

So the value of b is 2 ..

0.193 ? 0.65<br>A. &lt;<br>B. =<br>C. &gt;
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer is A, reason why is because if you add a 0 to the end of the number 0.65, the problem would then say; 0.193 < 0.650. So, if you take off the 0. on the front of both decimals it would then say 193 < 650 and 650 is greater than 193.
