Word war 2 was a major world war. Germany, Italy, and Japan started it. It was also the war that the holocaust happened in. Adolf hitler wanted revenge for Germany losing WW1 and blamed all of germanys problem on Jews. He killed many jews throughout the war in concentration camps. Germany also started taking over other countries. America joined the war after Japan bombed pearl harbor.
