Mathematics

Subtract x/a from both sides.

y/b=1-x/a

Multiply by b on both sides.

y=b(1-x/a)

If you want, you can leave it like that or you can distribute the b through.

y=b-bx/a

Explain why 235 is not divisible by 7
otez555 [7]
Because 35 is divisible by 7, but 23-21=2, so it becomes 25, which 7 is not a factor of. therefore, it is not divisible by 7.

Can someone answer these for me???!!!
babymother [125]

1: Angles 2 & 6 + angles 3 & 7

     - Angles that are on the inside of the parallel lines and on opposite sides of the transversal

2: Angle 1

     - Angles in the same position but the other line

3: Alternate exterior angles

     - Angles that are on the outside of the parallel lines and opposite sides of the transversal

4: Same side interior angles

     - They are on the same side of the transversal and inside the parallel lines

5: Angle 2

     - It is supplementary and on the inside of the parallel lines

6: Angle 4

     - It is supplementary and on the outside of the parallel lines

7: 146°

     - They are corresponding angles, so they are the same measurement

8: 128°

     - They are supplementary angles, so 180 - 52 = 128

For 9 & 10:

     - They are supplementary, so adding them together will result in 180 degrees

     - (8x + 63) + (5x) = 180 -> 8x + 5x + 63 = 180 -> 13x = 117 -> x = 9

     - Now we will plug it in to find the individual measurements:

9: 135°

     - 8x + 63 -> 8(9) + 63 -> 72 + 63 = 135

10: 45°

     - 5x -> 5 (9) = 45

                         I hope this helps, have a nice day! :D

Monica deposits $300 into a savings account that has a simple interest of 3.4%. Paul deposits $400 into a savings account that h
romanna [79]

Answer: Monica earned more interest

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for calculating simple interest is given by :

S.I = \frac{ptr}{100}

For Monica

S.I = 300 x 3.4 x 1 / 100

S.I = $10.2

For Paul

S.1 = 400 x 2.4 x 1 / 100

S.I = $9.6

Therefore : Monica earned more interest

likoan [24]

Answer:

x= -8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

(x+6)(3)=−6

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

(x+6)(3)=−6

(x)(3)+(6)(3)=−6(Distribute)

3x+18=−6

Step 2: Subtract 18 from both sides.

3x+18−18=−6−18

3x=−24

Step 3: Divide both sides by 3.

3x
