Answer: The answer is benefits of international trade

Explanation:

In the question, no specific question was asked. But I think the question is about the benefits of international trade.

International trade is a trade between one country and the other.it can also be said to be the buying and selling of goods and services across national boundaries. The following are the benefits of international trade

A higher level of material well being : international trade leads to increased standard of living among nations of the world. In the sense that, it increases output and the opportunity to acquire goods that we would otherwise have been unable to produce ourselves, it would lead to increase in national income which will in turn lead to increased in investment which will enhance the welfare of all citizens

Reducing the threat of war: international trade bring about a better understanding among nations of the world. It promotes international friendship and world peace.

Deterring monopoly : international trade helps in preventing monopoly by ensuring that goods comes from other countries of the world.

Promoting competition : international trade helps in promoting competition among nations of the world. In the sense that, countries compete for trade in order to increase their own volume of the world trade as a measure to avoid balance of payment deficit.

Gains from specialization : international trade help countries to specialize in commodities which they can best produced. It leads to increased output and employment throughout the world from which every nation can benefit.

A more efficient allocation of resources : international trade help countries to allocate their resources efficiently. In the sense that, each country will specialize in the production of those commodities in which the country has comparative cost advantage over other countries by directing their resources to those areas of comparative lower cost, world output will be increased.

Kasey Corp. has a bond outstanding with a coupon rate of 5.87 percent and semiannual payments. The bond has a yield to maturity
Viktor [21]

Answer:

Quoted price of bond = $1825.05

Explanation:

The quoted price or price of the bond can be calculated by taking adding the present value of the annuity payments in form of interest made by the bond and the present value of the face value of the bond. The formula for the price of bond is attached.

The interest is payed semi annually, thus the semi annual coupon payment (C)  is,

C = 2000 * 5.87% * 6/12 = 58.7

The semi annual YTM is = 6.9%/2  =  3.45%

Total semi annual periods are = 13 * 2 = 26

Bond Price = 58.7 * [(1 - (1+0.0345)^-26) / 0.0345]  +  2000 / (1+0.0345)^26

Bond Price = $1825.051207 rounded off to $1825.05

He offers an annual bonus of $10,000 for superior performance, $6,000 for good performance, $3,000 for fair performance, and $0
Alik [6]

If he offers an annual bonus of $10,000 for superior performance, $6,000 for good performance, $3,000 for fair performance, and $0 for poor performance. Based on prior records, he expects an employee to perform at superior, good, fair, and poor performance levels with probabilities 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, and 0.20, respectively. The expected value of the annual bonus amount will be: $3,700

First step

Expected value for Superior performance=$10,000×0.10

Expected value for Superior performance=$1,000

Expected value for Good performance=$6,000×0.20

Expected value for Good performance=$1,200

Expected value for Fair performance=$3,000×0.50

Expected value for Fair performance=$1,500

Expected value for Poor performance=$0×`1,500

Expected value for Poor performance=$0

Now let determine the total  expected value of the annual bonus amount

Expected value of annual bonus amount=$1,000+$1,200+$1,500+$0

Expected value of annual bonus amount=$3,700

Inconclusion if he offers an annual bonus of $10,000 for superior performance, $6,000 for good performance, $3,000 for fair performance, and $0 for poor performance. Based on prior records, he expects an employee to perform at superior, good, fair, and poor performance levels with probabilities 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, and 0.20, respectively. The expected value of the annual bonus amount will be: $3,700
