Answer: The genome project helps to know the whole genome sequence present in the body of an organism.

If we know the genome sequence of an organism then we will know that which gene is responsible for which function of the body.

Every gene of the body has a specific function so knowing the gene will help to cure the disease associated with that gene.

We can genetically manipulate the gene and produce the product of our desire( high content of protein in the milk).

Hence, genome project will help to cure disease, produce desired product in the cattle.
