The first reason I can give for the appeal and importance of nonfiction in today's world is that it is a source of constant education and the second is that it helps present a new different and more interactive source of literature for people.

Explanation:

First of all the major and the most important reason for the role of nonfiction in today's world is that thanks to the vast amount of people developing in different areas we have a bigger source of wisdom about all topics. So, we can acquire more wisdom about them by getting access to nonfiction literature and keep learning throughout our lives. Second, thanks to the vast amount of requisites someone has to publish a book about a certain topic it becomes very difficult for someone to publish a book because it will be criticized by many people. So, it is a better opportunity to receive high-quality products.
