X=0 bexause the 3s cancel out and your left with 2x=0 so x=0

So what you want to do is make it so all the X's are on one side, and all the numbers on the other.

Basically, making it so like terms are on the same sides.

So basically:

x+3+2x=x+3

What you can first do is:

x + 2x + 3 = x + 3

3x + 3 = x + 3

And then you could:

3x + 3 - 3 = x + 3 - 3

3x = 0

/3     /3

x = 0

Domain of the function of a graph with coordinates (-3,-2)
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

Domain is -3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that coordinate of a graph is (-3, -2)

We have to find out the domain.

We know that if A and B are two sets, a mapping from A to B is the subset of cartesian product AxB.

Domain is the set of values of A which have images in B.

Use the above definition.

We have A = {-3,...} and B = {-2,....}

The mapping is from -3 to -2

Hence domain is -3

On Monday, Deborah ran 3 2− 5miles and on Tuesday she ran 4 1− 5miles. How many miles did she run on these two days together?
notsponge [240]

Mixed fraction:

3 2/5 = 17/5

4 4/5 = 24/5

Miles she ran:

17/5 + 24/5

= 41/5 miles or 8.2 miles

One endpoint of a line segment is (–6, 4), and the midpoint of the segment is (–2, 7). What are the coordinates of the other end
Arturiano [62]

Answer:

A. (2, 10)

Step-by-step explanation:

If there are two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) on a coordinates plane then

coordinates of the midpoint is given by (x1+x2)/2, (y1+y2)/2

__________________________________________________

Given

one endpoint is (–6, 4) and midpoint is (–2, 7)

let coordinates of other endpoint be (x,y)

now if one endpoint is (–6, 4) and other endpoint is (x,y)

then coordinates of midpoint is ((-6+x)/2 , (4+y)/2)

while the coordinates of midpoint given  is  (–2, 7)

thus (–2, 7) should be equal to ((-6+x)/2 , (4+y)/2)

-2 = (-6+x)/2             and   7 = (4+y)/2

=> -2*2 = -6+x                 => 7*2 = 4+y

=> -4 = -6+x                    => 14 = 4+y

=> -4+6 = x                     => 14-4 = y

=> x = 2                           => 10 = y

Thus, coordinates of the other endpoint is(2,10)
