Answer

Find out the  length of PR .

To prove

As given in the diagram

∠P = ∠Q

By using the property

If two angles are equal than their opposite sides are also equal .

thus

PR = RQ

As given in the diagram

PR = 5n

RQ = 32 + n

Thus

5n = 32 + n

5n - n = 32

4n = 32

n = \frac{32}{4}

n = 8

Put n = 8 in the PR = 5n

PR = 5 × 8

    = 40 units

RQ = 32 +8

     = 40 units

Therefore  PR = RQ  = 40 units .

Hence proved

PR = QR

5n = 32 +n

 subtract 1 n from each side

4n = 32

divide both sides by 4

n = 32/4 = 8

n=8

PR = 5n = 5*8 = 40

PR = 40

kifflom [539]
If there are 4 ounces of vanilla in a 12 ounces milkshake , it means that every 3 ounces of milkshake , 1 ounce of those 3 ounces is vanilla 4 ÷ 12 = 1/3
1/3 is the proportion of vanilla and milkshake.

4 ÷ 12 can also be written as 2/6 or 4/12

Awnser : 1/3 , 2/6 or 4/12 , 8/24 etc ...

ps. dont drink this milkshake , it is just chocolate and vanilla ( theres not even milk in it )

Y=x+4 y=-2x-2 explain the awnser plz
Sliva [168]

Answer:

x = -2 and y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the following system of linear equations;

y=x+4

y=-2x-2

To solve the above system, we shall be equating the right hand sides of the two equations since we have y's on the left hand side of both equations;

x + 4 = -2x - 2

add 2x on both sides of the equation;

x + 4 + 2x = -2x - 2 + 2x

3x + 4 = -2

subtract 4 on both sides of the equation;

3x + 4 - 4 = -2 - 4

3x = -6

x = -2

We can use the first equation y=x+4 to determine the value of y;

y = -2 + 4

y = 2

The solution to the system of linear equations is thus;

x = -2 and y = 2

Gelneren [198K]

Answer:

B. 6\sqrt2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The given triangle is an isosceles right angled triangle with the legs equal to 6 cm each and the hypotenuse is 'x' cm.

Applying Pythagoras theorem which states that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides. Therefore,

x^2=6^2+6^2\\x^2=36+36\\x^2=72\\x=\sqrt{72}\\x=\sqrt{36\times 2}\\x=\sqrt{36}\times \sqrt{2}\\x=6\sqrt2\ cm

Therefore, the length of the hypotenuse is x=6\sqrt2 cm.

Hence, the option B is the correct one.
